La sostenibilidad de la biblioteca esta en manos de muchas Cooperantes, La  Junta Directiva, formada por personas de la comunidad, con un compromiso con el pueblo para rl pueblo.

Fundación Riecken
Es una organización sin fines de lucro, que fue fundada por el Sr. Allen Andersson  en el 2000. Con una sola misión "impulsar la democracia y prosperidad en las comunidades centroamericanas a través de instituciones sociales y educativas que despierten un espiritu de descubrimiento y la participación social.Con 52 bibliotecas en Honduras y 9 en Guatemala, han hecho que los habitantes de las comunidades en donde hay una biblioteca de la Red sean parte de un encuentro con la lectura.
